Yahoo and Softbank Interactive Marketing announced plans to extend their advertising sales agreement. Yahoo will expand its direct sales force and Softbank will provide consultation and sales representation to Yahoo through December 31. Yahoo hired Softbank in June 1995 to develop Yahoo's advertising and promotion strategy and to represent the directory for Web advertising sales.
