Online financial news site TheStreet.com and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange have filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to trade a newly-created Internet stock index. TheStreet.com Internet Sector will follow the performance of 20 leading Internet stocks, which will be equally weighted on the index. The Susquehanna Investment Group will serve as specialist firm for options based on the new index, according to a release.
