Quarterdeck has appointed Curtis Hessler as CEO to replace interim president King Lee. Hessler most recently served as chairman of I-Net, a network integration company, and chairman of E-Biz, an electronic commerce venture. Quarterdeck, a maker of memory management and Internet software, has been rocked by a series of losses and by constant management turnover in the past year. The company announced a $75 million loss in its last fiscal year, and was subsequently hit by a shareholder lawsuit.
