Priceline.com said today it will expand its name-your-own-price grocery service nationally this summer with the addition of Kroger to its roster of participating supermarket chains. The Stamford, Conn.-based company, which lets consumers bid on groceries through the Internet, launched Webhouse Club in November 1999, serving the New York area, and said it plans to expand into 31 states by the end of this year through Kroger?s more than 2,300 stores.
