Short Take: Peregrine, Envive team to monitor R/3

Network management software maker Peregrine Systems and monitoring and alerting system maker Envive are creating a system for monitoring SAP's R/3 software system. Under the deal, Peregrine will integrate its Enterprise Service Desk ServiceCenter and Envive's ServiceAlert product. The system will sound alerts and automatically send a service ticket to the appropriate people if there is a problem in a company's R/3 system. The bundled product is available today.
