Trade-Ranger, an online marketplace started by energy and petrochemical companies, named Claire Farley as its permanent chief executive. Farley, a former Texaco executive, was most recently the CEO of medical software maker Intelligent Diagnostics. Trade-Ranger is an Internet marketplace that buys and sells materials geared toward the energy industry.
