Networking software provider Novell announced its intentions to ship new clustering software by the end of this month. The Novell High Availability Server for NetWare, priced at $3,895, is targeted at users of the NetWare 4.11 operating system, with support for the soon-to-be-released NetWare 5.0 upgrade coming shortly, according to the company. The software allows two servers to act as an "active" cluster in a two-machine fail-over setting, meaning both computers can handle a task while providing a secondary option if one fails.
