Short Take: Network Computing Devices reports net loss

Network Computing Devices reported revenues of 30.6 million for the first quarter of 1998, down about 1 percent from revenues of $31 million reported for the same quarter a year ago. Network Computing, which markets scaled-down hardware and software, reported a net loss of $489,000, or 3 cents a share, for the quarter, compared with a net profit of $852,000 posted a year ago.
