Short Take: Network Associates to take acquisition-related charge

Network security software company Network Associates will take a charge of one cent or two cents per share related to its $671 million acquisition of Dr. Solomon, Bloomberg reported. Now that Justice Department regulators have signed off on the buyout, Network Associates expects to finalize its combination with the British antivirus software maker this month.
