NetCore Systems introduced an IP-based ATM routing switch targeted at service providers who want to add advanced services to their repertoire. The Everest model includes support for advanced network services such as VPNs and can support links up to OC-48 levels. The new switch will enter beta testing this summer and will ship in the fourth quarter.
