Short Take: Monorail cuts PC prices

Monorail discounted its PCs by as much as 16 percent. The Monorail NPC 5000 with a 200-MHz Pentium MMX processor, 2GB hard drive, and 16MB of memory has been reduced from $849 to $799. The Monorail NPC 7000, featuring a 233-MHz Pentium II processor, a 3GB hard drive, and 32MB of memory, has been reduced by $120 to $1,129.
