Microsoft rolled out its Encarta Reference Suite 98 for Windows 95 and NT Workstation. The suite provides multimedia reference entries comprising over 20 million words of text in more than 50,000 articles, more than 1.2 million location names, and over 600,000 definitions, synonyms, and quotes. Encarta Reference Suite 98 starts at the retail price of $109, though educational institutions are eligible for a discount.
