Short Take: Marimba, Lotus ink push deal

Marimba will today ink a deal with Lotus Development to incorporate Marimba's Castanet "push" technology into Lotus's Domino server groupware. Lotus officials said the Java-based technology will give Domino users additional software distribution capabilities. Marimba, which yesterday shipped version 1.0 of Castanet, has also signed technology deals with Netscape Communications, Apple Computer, and Corel.
