On the heels of a $6.7 million second-quarter loss announced yesterday, Madge Networks announced an internal restructuring to focus on four core markets. Madge said it will continue to produce technology for Token Ring and Ethernet users, as well as for companies implementing video conferencing and telecommunications firms deploying ISDN. As a result of the move, the company expects to reduce operating costs by a third over the next two fiscal quarters. The company reported revenues of $102.1 million for the quarter, down from $112.5 million.
