Loran Technologies announced a management appliance that combines an Intel-based PC with network management software dubbed the Kinnetics Network Manager. When plugged in, the appliance automatically discovers a physical network map and acknowledges changes on the fly, according to the company. The software also locates network problems automatically. The new tools are shipping now, with prices starting at $15,925.
