Short Take: J.D. Edwards recruits partners

Enterprise business software maker J.D. Edwards is recruiting software companies to develop new industry-specific applications that work with their core OneWorld ERP system. The firm's first pick in the new Partners in Development program is scrap and steel processing software developer Systems Alternatives (SAI). J.D. Edwards plans to add partners in retail, banking and financial, and publishing.
