Instill, an online buying service for restaurants and institutional food services, said IBM will provide Internet access through IBM Global Network to Instill's food service operator and distributor customers. IBM also will encourage clients to evaluate the Instill service, which includes Web-based purchasing, electronic invoicing, and a tool for analyzing chain-wide purchasing trends. Instill processed $180 million of food service transactions last year.
