Short Take: Informix sees class action

A class-action lawsuit was filed on August 13 by shareholders of Informix who alleged that company officers and auditor Ernst & Young committed fraud by artificially inflating the market price of Informix common stock by withholding information about competitive problems the company faced in its relational database software business.
