Short Take: IMotors snags $62.5 million

Online car-buying site IMotors said it has raised $62.5 million in private investments. Investors include Vulcan Ventures, Charter Growth Capital, Global Retail Partners, Oak Investment Partners and Trinity Ventures. The San Francisco-based company, which lets customers custom order used cars online, said it plans to use the money to further expand nationally and build its technology infrastructure. Less than a year old, IMotors has raised a total of $139 million.
