IBM is adding new elements to its Web-hosting offerings. New packages, offered through value added resellers and trade associations for small and midsized businesses, include Web site design and management, e-commerce capabilities, intranets, extranets, and content hosting. A template-based home page creator will cost from $25 for five pages and 12 catalog items to $250 a month for 100 pages and 1,000 catalog items. Extranets, now available in Europe, will run $175 to $1,500 a month in the United States, starting by year's end.
