Short Take: Hilton to check out hotel smart cards

Hilton Hotels will test the use of smart cards in checking guests in and out of its hotels. The cards will also update a personal profile for airport check-in with electronic tickets and offer full charging privileges. The pilot, which begins this month at Chicago's O'Hare Hilton, is being conducted in conjunction with American Express and IBM.
