Short Take: GlobeSet releases SET software

GlobeSet has released new merchant software, called ServerPOS, for accepting credit card transactions over the Internet. The payment server supports both secure sockets layer (SSL) and Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) payments and is targeted to merchants, banks, and ISPs. GlobeSet's certificate authority software for issuing digital IDs also has been certified by SETCo as complying with the spec.
