Short Take: EDS snags $200 million Equifax deal

EDS has scored a ten-year contract with Equifax's payment services unit worth more than $200 million. Under the deal, EDS and its E.solutions unit will manage the computer operations at the Equifax data center in St. Petersburg, Florida. The deal will allow Equifax to concentrate on providing credit card processing, retail check risk management services, and electronic banking services to current and new customers. Approximately 130 Equifax employees will transfer to EDS.
