Short Take: Data General revenue drops

Data General reported a net loss of 14 cents a share--12 cents wider than expected--excluding a one-time gain from the sale of an investment. Including the gain, the loss for the March quarter was $4.5 million (9 cents a share), on revenues of $361.8 million. A year ago, net income was $13.8 million (32 cents a share) on a diluted basis, on revenues of $389.3 million.
