Compaq announced price cuts on high-capacity hard drives, to 12 percent on 4.3GB and 9.1GB drives. Models in both categories feature the fast SCSI interface--some are fast and wide SCSI or SCSI 2--and some of the models are "hot swappable." Intended for use in servers, the drives are available through resellers.
