Short Take: Compaq invests in Israel VC fund

Israel's Concord Venture Fund, formerly Kardan Technology Ventures, said that Compaq is one of the investors in its $75 million venture capital fund. A general partner said that the computer maker invested "less than $10 million" in the fund, which so far has invested between 10 percent and 20 percent of its total endowment in information technology and medical equipment start-ups.
