Short Take: Cerion to be liquidated

Cerion Technologies, a maker of data storage components, announced that it intends to stop operations around November 15. The company had previously announced that it was seeking a buyer for its business but had been unsuccessful in that effort. After the board reviewed the company's current financial position and its prospects for the future, it decided to seek approval from its shareholders for a liquidation of the company.
