Epic Data Integration, a Canadian wireless technology company, is the latest to join RosettaNet, an industry group that is trying to develop standards and protocols for e-commerce. Epic Data supplies technology for connecting business-to-business applications to wireless devices such as Palm handheld devices. The announcement comes a week after PeopleSoft joined the RosettaNet, intending to develop business-to-business standards for enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications.
