Short Take: Broadcast.com posts Q2 loss
Webcasting firm Broadcast.com reported a second quarter net loss of $3.9 million, or 27 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million or 12 cents a share for the like quarter a year ago. Quarterly revenue rose to $3.7 million from $1.5 million a year ago. The results are the first report from the company since it went public last month, when shares more than tripled the first day.
