Short Take: Bay, Visual Networks tie management suites

Bay Networks and Visual Networks announced an agreement to tie their network management suites together. Visuals' UpTime wide area network service-level management systems software can monitor network links to ensure that proper services for corporations are being given. The tools will be combined with Bay's Optivity network management suite of tools for local and wide area networks.
