software upgrade to its low-end Instant Internet hardware and software
bundle that allows small businesses to connect to the Web over analog or
leased lines, and supports Ethernet or Token Ring-based networks. Version
4.0 of the software adds support for native TCP/IP clients such as Apple
Macintosh, Unix, and IBM OS/2 through support for the SOCKS protocol.
