Short Take: Bay builds sales force

Bay Networks appointed four executives to key sales management positions. Mike Gallagher was named to the position of senior vice president of North American sales. Larry Vaughan joined the company as vice president of sales, central region; Chuck Beam was promoted to vice president of sales for the company's Internet/telecom business group; Dave Stevens was named to vice president of North American systems engineering. Vaughan, Beam, and Stevens all will report to Gallagher.
