Short Take: Banks choose Sun technology

Sun Microsystems announced today at a trade show that it has developed a technology solution allowing Spectrum-participating banks to connect to its switch and exchange bills online. The Spectrum switch is the first open, interoperable mechanism for exchanging online bills and is available to all U.S. financial institutions and others.
