Autodesk reported a net income of $21 million, or 41cents per share, for the quarter ending October 31, compared with $5.9 million, or 13 cents a share, a year earlier. The company's revenue grew $162.2 million, up from $116.6 million last year. The maker of design software and multimedia tools attributed the growth to its GIS product family, in which revenue nearly doubled, and to its visualization product, Kinetix, which showed 30 percent growth.
