Short: Cadence, CCT end dispute, expand relationship

Cadence Design Systems and Cooper & Chyan Technology settled a contract dispute that led to a lawsuit filed by Cadence on July 29 involving an interface between the two companies' products. As part of the agreement, Cadence will become a service provider for CCT's family of circuits and design tools, giving Cadence access to CCT's tools to fulfill service agreements with mutual customers. For its part, CCT has signed an agreement to allow its products to interface with Cadence's IC and PCB design products.
