Apple Computer announced version 2.1 of its ColorSync color management architecture for the Macintosh. The upgrade, which runs as an extension to the Macintosh operating system, will improve the synchronization of color output across peripheral devices that do not share the same color range. ColorSync 2.1 is now available as a free download and will also be included in the next release of the Mac OS.
