Semiconductor start-up raises $15 million

Advanced Analogic Technologies announced on Tuesday that it raised $15 million in a fifth round of funding led by Battery Ventures. Previous investors Hotung Investment Holdings, InveStar Capital, Maton Venture, Mosel Vitelic and Sunsino Ventures Group participated in the round.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company has raised a total of $45.1 million. Advanced Analogic Technologies makes semiconductor chips for mobile devices.
