Microsoft's lawsuit against its former executive Kai-Fu Lee and his new employer Google is a "charade" meant to frighten other Redmond workers into staying put, Google and Lee said in court papers filed this week.

"Indeed, Microsoft executives admitted to Lee that their real intent is to scare other Microsoft employees into remaining at the company," the defendants wrote in court filings. Click here for the full story, or here for a story on judge's ruling in the case.
