QLogic senior executive resigns

Storage networking equipment maker QLogic has lost a senior manager, Mark Edwards, who resigned from his post as senior vice president of technology and planning, the company said in a regulatory filing. Edwards had worked for Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based QLogic since 1996, joining the company from Unisys. QLogic said Edwards will continue working at the company through Aug. 15. Edwards has taken a job at No. 8 Ventures, a venture capital firm in New Zealand, QLogic spokesman Steve Sturgeon said.
