PC retailer cuts jobs at Web sites

PC retailer Micro Warehouse, which runs the MicroWarehouse and MacWarehouse Web sites, is cutting 65 jobs to reduce costs, a company spokesman confirmed. A memo from CEO Jerry York said, "Our sales are remaining at relatively low levels rather than strengthening from the January/February levels." The memo goes on to say that "prices are declining somewhat faster than we had anticipated." The company has 2,000 employees.
