Palm to access corporate databases

Palm on Monday said it has released software that enables corporations to develop software that gives handhelds wireless access to information stored on corporate databases. As previously reported, the Wireless Database Access Server is based on a program that was released by ThinAirApps just before it was acquired by Palm last year. Palm first demonstrated its version of the software at a February meeting with analysts.
