A new payroll application works with Oracle's Human Resource Management System to track employee times.

Oracle (ORCL) today shipped a new payroll application that works with the company's Human Resource Management System.

The software module, called called Time and Attendance, is a rules-based accounting tool designed to reduce overhead by making it easier for Oracle's enterprise customers to manage their workforces. The technology automates the process of tracking employee time and attendance records, the company said.
