Microsoft Great Plains, the business applications division of the software giant, on Tuesday announced an upgrade to its Solomon IV suite of tools for midsize companies. The new Solomon software, available immediately with prices starting at $4,500, includes updates of its financial, projects, e-business and services software technologies. The division continues with its plans to integrate software from the recently acquired Great Plains with Microsoft programs.
