Manugistics strikes new partnership

Software company Manugistics created a marketing partnership with A.T. Kearney, a management consulting unit of systems integrator Electronic Data Systems, the companies said Monday. The companies will jointly promote and sell Manugistics' revenue optimization software, a set of analytic applications designed to help businesses set prices for their goods and plan promotions to maximize profits. A.T. Kearney will provide consulting to customers of the software. Under the agreement, the two companies intend to develop products together.
