Mobile subscribers hooked up with a regional carrier will soon get their shot at the iPhone 5S and 5C.

The two phones are also destined for other regional US carriers as well as some in Canada. An Apple Web page displays a list of all current iPhone carriers around the world.

One major regional carrier so far conspicuous by its absence is US Cellular.

In the past, US Cellular has declined to hop on board the Apple bandwagon. US Cellular CEO Mary Dillon said in 2011 that Apple's "terms were unacceptable from a risk and profitability standpoint."
