Financial software and services company Intuit announced Monday that it had acquired
Income Dynamics, a privately held Omaha, Neb.-based company that makes software for determining the fair market value of items donated to charity. The $10 million all-stock deal closed Friday, according to a statement from Mountain View, Calif.-based
Intuit.
Income Dynamic's It'sDeductible software, which Intuit offered this year through a reseller partnership, will become part of Intuit's market-leading line of TurboTax tax preparation products. Competitor H&R Block began selling a similar product, DeductionPro, for the 2002 tax year.
