IBM taps Vignette software for sites
Vignette said Thursday its partnership with IBM expanded as its Web content management software was chosen for several of Big Blue's branded Internet sites. IBM selected Vignette's Content Management Server as its standard for many of its partner and developer sites, which receive more than 10 million page views per month, Vignette said in a statement. Vignette, in turn, will make its content, integration and analysis applications available on IBM's AIX and DB2 platforms, a move that follows its integration with IBM's application server, WebSphere. The combined products are expected to be available in the third quarter of this year.
