IBM announced a financing deal that offers customers reduced rates or an option to defer payments altogether until 2004, the company said Thursday. Under the program, called Power to Choose, customers can buy all IBM servers except mainframes, PCs, printers, software and services.

The financing deal is available to qualified customers in the United States, Canada and the Asia-Pacific region through Sept. 30, IBM said.
