HyperRoll seals $12.5 million

HyperRoll announced Thursday that it received a $12.5 million second round of funding, led by Sequoia Capital and Greylock. Vertex Venture Capital and previous investors Microdent Ventures and Denali Ventures also participated in the round. Santa Clara, Calif.-based HyperRoll has raised a total of $16 million. The company develops software designed to quickly aggregate data from a variety of database companies and increase the performance of applications.
