European travel site Ebookers.com announced the resignation of its chief operating officer, Iain Reid. The company said Friday that Reid resigned to pursue other interests outside of the Internet travel industry. The company, Europe's largest travel site, purchased Scandinavia competitor MrJet last month, as it seeks to bolster its customer base. Ebookers, at the time, said it will consider more acquisitions in the coming year.
